Forge Extraordinary is a mentorship
and leadership development
..for ambitious teens who want to grow in confidence, self-awareness, communication, leadership, and purpose.
While many programs focus exclusively on college admissions, we believe the most compelling applications are created when students first develop a strong sense of identity, character, and direction.
Through individualized mentoring, students learn to articulate who they are, discover what they value, communicate with confidence, and become thoughtful leaders in their schools, families, and communities.
The result is not only stronger college applications, but stronger young adults prepared to thrive in college and beyond.
For more than twenty years, Tina Wilson has guided students through this transformative process. A graduate of Wellesley College and Harvard University, Tina combines expertise in human development, psychology, leadership, and college admissions to help students realize their potential and pursue meaningful lives.

All the best,
Founder & CEO, Forge Extraordinary™
I can’t thank you enough. She loved you as a mentor. The best thing is how you supported her in such a pleasant way. You gave her such confidence! We are uber busy and relied on you to help her to the end and you and your approach were exactly what we hoped for. You’re the best coach in the world and we are so blessed to have had you work with our daughter.
After doing a lot of research, I knew exactly where I wanted to go for college, but didn’t know how to make it happen. Tina led me every step of the way and taught me how to build a great application that was a perfect reflection of who I am. After a very lengthy process, I was accepted at both of my top choice schools: US Naval Academy and West Point. All those who have the benefit of working with her will experience the same wisdom and compassion she shared with me. I promise you, she will give you everything in her arsenal to help you reach your goals and succeed. That’s just who she is.
Thank you so much for your help and kind encouragement! No words enough for our appreciations! It is such a huge relief. We all learned so much through this process. We hoped that we could have met you much earlier! We really appreciate the way you coach. You are very encouraging, guiding with both principles and examples, so our daugher immediately get it and knew how and exactly what to work on at all times.
Working with Tina was the best experience I’ve ever had. For all four years of high school, she helped me prepare for college. Her personality is bubbly and enthusiastic and she actually makes the journey fun! Tina is patient with her students. She goes above and beyond your expectations and I can confidently say that with her help I love where I am today.
I just got accepted to William & Mary and also, Mount Holyoke offered me a $20,000/ year leadership scholarship! Thank you so much for all your help. I couldn’t have done it without you!
We feel so lucky to have found you for our boys. We never dreamed they could come this far turning what was going to be a boring summer into a fun learning experience that made them an Amazon Prime Seller! It’s never too early to start developing their interests. Thank you!!
My son had pretty good grades, but he was lost in the process of writing essays and presenting himself in the best possible way. Tina helped him immeasurably in both of these areas and really relieved all the stress in the process. He had many options to choose from along with several great scholarship offers. Thank you, Tina, for all you have done for my son and for our family!
Your guidance for our son has been very helpful. Your advice has helped him so much and he really enjoys working with you. As parents we prefer he find his own way in life, as long as he can try his best on learning himself and helping others. We appreciate you very much!
Tina is extremely dedicated, genuine, and has great integrity that shines through in her work. Not only is she a fantastic coach, but she is someone I could always confide in about my social experiences in school as well. Halfway through high school I transferred to a different school, and she was there to listen and help guide me through that adjustment period in my life. I always felt I could be completely transparent with her, and she was always there to provide encouragement and support. School can sometimes be overwhelming, and it was refreshing to be able to connect with her each week and work on my academic and college goals. I love where I am today and I am forever grateful to Tina for all that she did for me to help me get here.
I genuinely really really appreciate your guidance throughout the whole process. You always went above and beyond and helped me with ALL the supplementals (and there were so many!) I had a really stressful time with my applications but you were so patient. You heard me out and had faith in me. I couldn't have done it without you! Thank you so much!!
I appreciate you so much for believing in my kid and giving her the confidence to forge extraordinary! Don't think we could have done it without you. I thank God for allowing our paths to cross. Forever grateful. Thank you so much!!
I got into UC Berkeley MET for Bioengineering and Business! I am so excited and thank you so much for all your help and guidance!
EEEEKKKK!!! Thank you so much! I am so proud!!! I am so grateful to you for helping her see her worth. It has always been a dream for her to get accepted to an Ivy League. Couldn't have done it without you! Love you for a lifetime!!!
As a graduate of Wellesley College and Harvard University, and after more than two decades mentoring students, I’ve learned that success is rarely about checking boxes or building the perfect resume. It comes from developing self-awareness, character, resilience, communication skills, and a sense of purpose.
My students have gone on to attend exceptional colleges and universities, but the outcomes I’m most proud of are the young adults they become along the way.
College admissions may be one chapter of the journey. My goal is to help students prepare for all the chapters that follow.
